I’m Here to Help

In all my years of shooting, theses are some of the questions that I get asked the most frequently. Of course, if you have any additional questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out!

How long have you been a photographer?

I got my very first camera when I was ten years old and it’s been glued to my hand ever since. My journey with photography went much like anyone else’s, I started taking self portraits and then setting up shoots with my friends and eventually moved into shooting weddings, families, and births after I graduated from University of South Florida in 2016 with a Studio Art degree, focused in photography.

What’s your turnaround time?

My turnaround is pretty fast considering it’s just me here. I always have a sneak peek to you within a couple of days because I know how hard it is to wait when you just had an amazing session! I like to have couples / family sessions back to you within three weeks and elopements / births back to you in five weeks. This gives me plenty of time to make sure that each and every photo is chosen and edited with care and intention.

How many images do you include?

Each package that I offer varies in the amount of images delivered. I don’t like to give a cutoff number because each session is different and I don’t like withholding images from you just to get more money. These are your photos — your memories — and I want you to get every magical moment that was captured! You will receive an honest representation of our time together as it unfolds. I promise that I never leave anything out and I always include plenty of images from your session! Everything that meets my standards gets delivered to you.

Do you give raw unedited images?

For me, editing is where the other half of the magic happens. Part of my art is creating one of a kind imagery for you to cherish for a lifetime, and the way I edit the images is part of that. I treat your images like they are works of art, because they are, and if I were to give you unedited images I would feel like only half of the job is done — and because I really do care so incredibly much that you are getting my absolute BEST work, I do not send out unedited images.

How do payment schedules work?

I require a 30% deposit at the time of booking to secure your spot in my calendar, which is non-refundable and goes towards the final balance. The remaining balance is due one week before your scheduled shoot. You are able to split the cost into three payments to help make it more affordable. When it comes down to it, these are your memories and I really want you to have them, so I’m happy to work with you.

What if there’s bad weather?

I’m all for embracing whatever weather comes our way! Telling the authentic story of the day is my jam. Sometimes, the most magic lies in serendipitous occurrences. I am always prepared to shoot in the rain if necessary! However, if it becomes so much that it would be dangerous to be outside or damage my equipment, or if it’s bad enough that the shoot will no longer be a fun time, then I’m happy to reschedule your session to a different date.

What if we need to cancel or reschedule our session?

Your first payment is a 30% non-refundable retainer which is due at booking. At a minimum, you are agreeing that the retainer fee fairly compensates me for committing a day in my calendar to you and turning down other potential projects / clients.

How does covering travel expenses work?

I don’t have a set fee for traveling since each destination is different and has its own unique set of costs. I only have you pay for round trip flights, hotel stay, and rental car fees. If a rental car is unnecessary, I just use ride share apps and have you reimburse me.

I do prefer to book my own flights and lodging, with your approval.
I make sure to check with you on the price and logistics before booking anything to ensure there are no surprise costs on your end! After everything is purchased, I will invoice you— the due date on this typically being one week.

Can we combine travel costs?

Absolutely! If you are booking me for an intimate couples session, boudoir session, maternity session, or family session, ask around to see if anyone else in the area is interested in booking a shoot and travel expenses may be split to save money!

Do you offer discounts

I occasionally run special offers on mini sessions, but I do not offer discounts — my prices are firm.
